my longterm boyfriend has this Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2019 that he loves, but he's having a real rough time with the driver's seat

He's super tall with a long torso, and to top it off, he's got this L5-L6 back injury now.

He really doesn't want to trade in or sell his Jeep right now, so he desperately needs to figure out how to lower his driver's seat.

He even tried installing that Mischa Big Boy bracket, but it didn't give him any relief or actually lower the seat enough.

Is there any way to lower the driver's seat so his head isn't constantly hitting the roof or the sound bar? He's pretty uncomfortable, and I'd love to help him find a solution!

Hey, I totally understand how challenging that can be especially with his height and back injury. The Mischa Big Boy bracket does offer some extra legroom, but unfortunately it doesn't actually lower the seat height. If he's looking to lower the seat, take a look at Seat Slammers® by Desert Does It,they can lower the back of the seat by about half an inch to 2 inches, which might improve headroom. There are also PRP lowering brackets, but those are only compatible with specific seats. Is he interested in keeping the stock seats or is he open to replacing them?

tell your boyfriend to look for aftermarket low-profile seats like prp or corbeau that are closer to the floor.

ah, okay... It's good to know the Mischa wasn't actually meant for lowering.
I'll have to ask him about replacing the stock seats. He'd probably prefer to keep them if there's a solution that works, but at this point, his comfort is the main priority since his head is constantly bumping the sound bar
