Rattling sound bar on my 2024 Wrangler

After installing new speakers in my 2024 Wrangler, I noticed the plastic sound bar housing started rattling, along with the dome light surround. It's especially noticeable on rough roads and drives me nuts. I'd like to remove the housing so I can add some foam tape and quiet things down, but I'm not sure what's required. Anyone done this before?

Are you sure everything is tightened properly? If it is and the rattle is still there, foam strips will help with that. I'm just surprised that in just one removal the entire thing became flimsy.

Yeah, I double-checked the bolts and clips, everything seems snug. It almost feels like the plastic itself flexes too much. I'll grab some foam and see if it helps settle things

That’s a super common JL thing, especially after the sound bar’s been off once. @Metro foam tape or felt on the contact points usually fixes it, and some guys add a thin strip around the dome light too. Let us know if that quiets it down or if it’s still flexing after.
