Where to get replacement batteries?

My brother's '19 Wrangler's sending some battery drain warnings, and yesterday the doors wouldn't lock with the button or the fob! The dealer's saying it's time for both batteries to go and it is going to cost $800!

Has anyone found good alternatives to the dealer for batteries that are just as good but won't cost this much? i think I saw Costco selling the main one, but they don't touch the second battery or do installs. any tips on where to get reliable batteries for our Jeeps? thanks

Yeah, skip the dealer markup. It's just a rip! You can grab the battery at Costco there's no difference. You can even get from AutoZone. Your local shop can install both for WAYYY less than 800 dollars. The heck with that.
 
Totally! Paying $800 just to swap out a battery is insane. You can get batteries that work just as well from Costco or AutoZone, and most local shops will put it in for you super cheap.

Hey, does your Wrangler have one of those strange battery setups, by the way?
 
Yeah, for sure. $800 just to swap out a battery is crazy. You can easily find a good battery at places like Costco, AutoZone, or Napa for a lot less, and many local shops will install it for cheap or even for free if you buy it from them. By the way, does your Wrangler have that dual battery setup with the small auxiliary one hidden under the main battery? Those can be tricky if you haven't worked with them before.
 
Yikes, $800 is steep! And yep, you can go DIY or find a local shop that will install both for way less than dealer pricing. Good luck!
