Wrangler with a warranty

There is a 21 Wrangler at a local dealer which is a pretty good deal, but there are two things I'm concerned about. The dealer is offering a warranty, so the first question is if it's the same kind of warranty as if I would got it new? The second question is if I make some modifications like tires and stuff like that, would the warranty be void?

From what I know, if the 2021 Wrangler still has time/miles left on its original factory warranty, that part does transfer to you. Usually making modifications like changing tires won't automatically void your entire warranty. I think Jeep has to prove that your mods directly caused the part to break.

But it's best to ask the dealer specifically about the type of warranty they're offering and discuss your planned modifications with them they might be able to answer your questions better!

Typically, dealer warranties on used 2021 Wranglers aren't as comprehensive as new car warranties and minor modifications like tires usually won't void it, but big changes could, it is best to read the fine print carefully

Dealer warranties are never the same as factory new ones, they're usually shorter and full of fine print. And yeah, big mods like tires or lifts can absolutely give them an excuse to void coverage.
